With a distinguished legacy of more than three decades in social service, the Suryabharathy Foundation continues to strengthen its commitment to community welfare through meaningful healthcare initiatives. As part of these efforts, Suryabharathy Medicals, located at Kolangattukara, has been serving the local community by providing free medical consultations and medicines at subsidized rates.

Further expanding its healthcare outreach, the Suryabharathy Foundation, in association with Suryabharathy Medicals, launched a Free Medicine Distribution Programme for senior citizens aged 70 years and above residing in Avanoor Panchayat.

The programme was formally inaugurated on 1 May 2026 at Kolangattukara by Hon’ble Minister for Higher Education and Social Justice, Dr. R. Bindu. The function was presided over by Mr. K. P. Manojkumar, Managing Director and Chairman of the Suryabharathy Group.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by representatives of local self-government institutions, senior officials and staff members of the Suryabharathy Group, and members of the local community. During the event, the Hon’ble Minister, along with other distinguished dignitaries, distributed free medicines to the beneficiaries.

This initiative reflects the Foundation’s unwavering dedication to ensuring accessible, affordable, and quality healthcare for all, with particular emphasis on supporting the elderly. Through such programmes, the Suryabharathy Foundation continues to contribute meaningfully to the health, well-being, and social welfare of the community.
